*sales and rental vehicle taxes All usage and plan fees, regardless of plan type, are charged 5.5% local sales tax and 5% rental vehicle tax. This means that when you purchase a Prepaid Plan, you will be charged 10.5% tax on top of the prepaid plan fee (e.g., Smart Basic $100 plan will be charged at $110.50, etc.). Your Monthly Mobility Plan fee will be charged 10.5% tax as will your per hour rate, Pay As You Drive and our Special Rates (Insomiac & Daily).
These smart options offer prepaid hours at a discounted rate. You prepay the full cost of the plan fee up front. Every hour you drive is calculated at $8.00 - $9.00 per hour (depending on your plan). Your trips are automatically deducted from your prepaid funds as you drive.
Your plan expires whichever comes first: your expiration date has occured OR your prepaid funds are used up. Funds expire after 6 or 12 months with no carryover.
These flexible plans will get you moving in a snap and you can easily switch plans when needed. Every month you prepay a monthly plan fee - this is your minimum monthly payment. For every reservation, we calculate the cost of your trip at your per hour value. If you drive in excess of your prepaid monthly minimum, you owe us for additional usage based on your per hour rate. Monthly prepaid plan fees are not prorated and do not roll over.
Don't like to commit? You hardly ever drive and there might be a month or two in which you don't use a car at all? This plan is right for you. Only pay when you drive with our Pay As You Drive Plan. No monthly fee, no prepay.
When you use a car late at night or for a day trip, these special rates automatically take the place of your normal membership plan rate.
**Reservations may not last more than 3 days/72hrs. The first 150 miles of your reservation are free. You DO NOT receive 150 free miles per Daily Rate. You pay $0.48/mile for all miles in excess of the first 150 for your reservation.
